The REST API is the most flexible option and works with any technology stack - you send API requests to create invoices, generate payment addresses, and receive webhook notifications when payments confirm. Plugin-based integration is available for Shopify, WooCommerce, and PrestaShop, with no custom code required. The third option is the hosted invoice system: create and send payment requests directly from the Sheepy dashboard without any technical setup. All three methods support the same cryptocurrencies and fiat settlement.

Sheepy supports Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), Tron (TRX), Dogecoin (DOGE), and other cryptocurrencies. When a customer initiates a payment, Sheepy locks the exchange rate for the duration of the payment window - typically 15 to 30 minutes. The invoice amount in fiat is fixed at that point. If the customer pays within the window, the rate applies regardless of any market movement during that time. Real-time rates are pulled from major exchanges and updated continuously.

Each payment generates a unique deposit address or invoice ID. When a transaction arrives at that address, Sheepy matches it to the corresponding order automatically using on-chain data. Your system receives a webhook notification with the payment status, amount, and transaction hash. No manual matching is required.

Crypto payments typically confirm within minutes depending on the network and the confirmation threshold you set. Bitcoin payments are confirmed after a set number of block confirmations, which usually takes 10 to 30 minutes. Ethereum and USDT payments on faster networks confirm within seconds to a few minutes. Fiat settlement to your bank account follows the settlement schedule you configure in the Sheepy dashboard.
