Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.
How to log in to Sheepy account
To log in to your Sheepy account, open the website and click Sign in in the top-right corner. You will be redirected to the login page. Enter your registered email address and password into the fields provided. If you want the system to remember your session, check the "Remember me" box. Finally, click the "Log in" button to access your dashboard.
Account verification
Before accessing the production environment, every merchant must complete verification to comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements. Log in to your Sheepy account, open the Verification section, and you will be redirected to our partner Sumsub. There you provide company information and upload documents such as a certificate of incorporation, registry excerpts, shareholder registry, or similar records. Verification links are valid for seven days, so it is important to complete the process within this timeframe.
Sumsub securely processes your documents, while Sheepy receives only the verification results needed to activate your account. Sensitive files are not stored by Sheepy but remain protected in Sumsub’s infrastructure. Once the review is complete, our compliance team confirms your KYB/KYC status, and your account is activated in production mode with full access to Sheepy services.
Security features
Two-factor authentication (2FA) setup and recovery
Two-factor authentication adds an extra security layer to your Sheepy account. To enable it, log in, open Settings → General Settings, and switch on Google 2FA. A QR code will appear for scanning with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator. After scanning, enter the six-digit code generated by the app to activate 2FA. Once enabled, you’ll need to provide this code each time you log in.
Using app-based 2FA is strongly recommended over SMS, as it protects against SIM-swapping and message interception. The codes are generated locally on your device, ensuring stronger protection from unauthorized access.
If you lose access to your Google Authenticator, contact Sheepy support via the official website or email to reset 2FA. You’ll be asked to confirm your identity with your registered account details or business documentation. Once verified, 2FA will be disabled temporarily, allowing you to log in and re-enable Google 2FA to restore full security.
How to reset or change your password
If you forget your password, click “Forgot the password?” on the login page, enter your registered email, and follow the link sent to your inbox to set a new password.
To change your current password, log in to your account, go to Settings → General settings, and select Change password. Enter your current password, then create and confirm a new one.
Email notifications
Sheepy allows merchants to configure email alerts for key account activities, ensuring full visibility over payments and transactions. Notifications can be enabled in the Settings section of the dashboard for events such as invoice creation, confirmation, completion, expiration, errors, and refunds. These alerts apply to invoices, withdrawals, payouts, and refunds.
Merchants can also activate customer notifications so clients receive automatic updates when an invoice is issued, confirmed, or completed. Email preferences can be changed at any time in account settings, providing flexible control over how payment updates are communicated.
What to do if your credentials are leaked
If you suspect your login credentials have been compromised, act immediately. First, reset your password using the Forgot the password? option on the login page. Next, contact Sheepy support to inform them about the incident, especially if there is a risk of unauthorized access.
For additional protection, re-enable Google 2FA after resetting your credentials. Merchants are also strongly encouraged to review recent account activity, including balance reports and transaction history, to ensure there are no unauthorized operations.
Account security responsibility
Sheepy ensures the safety of funds stored within the platform and applies strict internal controls to protect merchant balances. However, merchants are fully responsible for the security of their account credentials, such as login, password, and 2FA codes. If access to an account is compromised due to weak password practices, failure to enable 2FA, or sharing credentials with unauthorized persons, Sheepy cannot guarantee the safety of account data or prevent fraudulent activity.
By following recommended security practices, merchants protect both their accounts and business operations, while Sheepy guarantees the integrity of the balance and transactions processed through its infrastructure.
Data management
How to generate balance report
To download a balance report on Sheepy, log in and open the "Balance" tab from the left menu. At the top of the page, you will see your Balance Statistics with the current balance and activity chart.
Select the desired period - 1W (one week), 1M (one month), 1Y (one year), or All (all time). After choosing the range, click the "Download report" button. A file with balance details for the selected timeframe will be saved to your device.
How to generate transaction history
For a detailed record of transactions, go to the "History" tab in the left menu. This section displays all incoming and outgoing operations linked to your account.
To download a detailed transaction history from Sheepy, сlick the "Download report" button to access the export settings window.
In this window, you can define the parameters of your report by choosing the date or period, the specific currency, the type of transactions you want to include, and their status. You can also select the file format, for example CSV, before downloading. Once all fields are set, confirm by clicking "Download report", and the file with your transaction history will be generated and saved to your device.
Team access
Team access in Sheepy allows merchants to organize collaborative work on a single account while keeping full control over access rights. This feature is especially useful for companies where several people are responsible for finance, operations, or reporting. By assigning individual roles, merchants can separate responsibilities, reduce risks of unauthorized actions, and simplify daily workflow.
To add a new team member, log in to your account and open the menu in the top-right corner. From the dropdown, select Team access. On this page, you will see the list of current team members, their roles, and status. Scroll down and click Invite new team member. In the invitation form, enter the full name and email address of the person you want to invite, then assign a role. After filling out the details, click “Send invitation”. The invited user will receive an email with instructions to join your account. Once they accept, their profile will appear in the Team access list, and you will be able to manage their role and monitor activity.
Roles in Team access
Sheepy offers four levels of roles with different permissions:
Owner - the highest-level role, assigned to the account creator. The owner has full rights to manage all aspects of the account, including transactions, API settings, team roles, and integrations. The Owner role cannot be deleted or reassigned, as it represents the primary legal and administrative holder of the account. This ensures there is always a single, ultimate authority responsible for the account’s compliance, financial operations, and overall security.
Admin - has almost the same level of access as the owner. Admins can create, view, and approve transactions, manage account and integration settings, invite and manage team members, and configure API. However, unlike the owner, admins can be removed or reassigned.
Support - can create, view, and approve transactions but cannot change account settings, integration settings, or manage team access. This role is designed for operational staff who need to handle payments but do not require administrative rights.
Viewer - has read-only access. Viewers can see dashboard data, balances, transaction history, and export reports, but they cannot create or approve transactions, nor make any changes to account settings.
This hierarchy ensures flexibility and security: while the owner remains the ultimate authority, admins can handle most management tasks, support staff can operate day-to-day transactions, and viewers can focus on monitoring and reporting.
Tip for merchants: When assigning roles, follow the principle of least privilege - provide each team member with only the level of access required for their tasks. This minimizes the risk of errors or unauthorized actions and helps maintain a secure working environment.
Communication and support channels
To ensure seamless interaction with Sheepy beyond the merchant dashboard, several communication channels are available.
The primary support system is ticket-based. Merchants can either send a request via the official support email or create one directly by logging into the ticketing platform. In both cases, a ticket is automatically generated in the internal system. This allows the support team to track, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently, while also ensuring that merchants can follow up on the progress of their requests.
Each merchant is also assigned a dedicated account manager. This personal manager serves as a direct point of contact for operational or strategic questions, providing tailored support and ensuring that every business receives individual attention.
Together, these communication channels give merchants multiple reliable ways to reach Sheepy, whether for technical assistance, account-related issues, or general guidance.
