What documents are required to verify my merchant account?
To complete merchant onboarding and activate your Sheepy account, you must submit a set of Know Your Business (KYB) documents as part of the verification process. These documents help Sheepy assess the legitimacy of your business, its ownership structure, and its compliance posture in line with regulatory requirements.
The standard KYB package includes a certificate of incorporation, an extract from the official company registry(issued within the last three months), a shareholder registry or ownership structure document, a valid business license if applicable, and your company’s articles of association or governing documents. All submissions must be in English or accompanied by a certified translation.
Sheepy uses an automated system to guide merchants through this onboarding process. Document review typically takes 1-3 business days, and additional information may be requested depending on your jurisdiction or business type.
