What should I do if my transaction has been awaiting confirmation for 5 days?
If your transaction has remained unconfirmed for five days, it is likely still queued in the blockchain’s mempool due to network congestion or a low network fee. Transactions are confirmed when miners or validators include them in a new block, and those with higher fees are typically prioritized. Unfortunately, Sheepy cannot accelerate this process, as confirmation times are controlled by the blockchain network itself. In such cases, the best course of action is to continue waiting, as the transaction may still be processed once network traffic decreases.
Some wallets may offer a “Replace-by-Fee” (RBF) or “accelerate transaction” feature, allowing you to resend the transaction with a higher fee, but this depends on the wallet you used. You can also track your transaction status using a blockchain explorer. Sheepy will automatically update the invoice once the transaction receives enough confirmations.
