What does an invoice with the status "Confirming" mean?

When an invoice displays the status “Confirming”, it means that the payment transaction has been successfully broadcast to the blockchain network and detected by Sheepy’s monitoring system, but it has not yet received the required number of network confirmations to be marked as completed. During this stage, no further action is required from the customer. The time it takes to move past the “Confirming” stage depends on several factors, primarily the network fee attached to the transaction and the current congestion level of the blockchain.

Higher fees typically result in faster processing, while low-fee transactions may be delayed or stuck in the mempool. While most confirmations are received within an hour, some may take longer - up to several hours or more - if the fee is insufficient or the network is experiencing high traffic. Sheepy will automatically update the invoice status once the necessary confirmations are secured.
